4 July 1872 — Madrid | |
Thursday. 4th July [1872]. Got a little breakfast at Hendaya or tried to do so but there were such crowds it was difficult to get any thing so that by the time we got to Bordeaux what with the heat & want of food I was quite knocked up & was so sick I was obliged to go at once to bed (Hotel de Nantes very comfortable). | |
