11 July 1872 — Langham House, Portland Place | |
Thursday. 11th July [1872]. We went at 1 to pay a visit to Henry’s aunt Mrs Austen & got home by lunch time. Went out driving with the M. & on our return helped Blanche to arrange flowers for the dinner table. A dinner party. The Huntlys, old Musurus & Ralouka, M—the Somers (who came an hour late) Lord Leicester & Lady Ann Coke &c– | |
