26 July 1872 — Canford Manor, nr. Wimborne, Dorset | |
Friday. 26th [July 1872]. I sang with B & began to knit a pair of stockings for Ivor but my head ached so much I was obliged to go & lie down all day in my room & eat nothing. I had some tea at 5 & then went out being a little better. Adeline came down from London. As we were walking in the garden I caught sight of Luff making signs to me so I slipped away & went walking with him by the river settling accts &c. | |
