28 July 1872 — Aldermaston Court, Aldermaston, Berkshire | |
Sunday. 28th [July 1872]. We went to church in the morning—after lunch I went upstairs & laid down as my head ached & I only went down to tea after wh every body went for a walk excepting myself & I sat in the garden– Presently Miss Thackeray joined me & we sat together & then Mr Lefevre but he went on by himself & I & Miss T. walked up & down together & I told her abt Spain. Mrs Senior sang again in the evening most beautifully. | |
