30 July 1872 — Aldermaston Court, Aldermaston, Berkshire | |
Tuesday. 30th [July 1872]. Sat writing in Mrs Burrs boudoir all the morning. Buckland came, also Mr Fergusson & Miss Duff Gordon, Miss & Mr Jekyll. I fished in the afternoon & had a great disappointment. I hooked a large gold [illegible word] & he got off. Sir R. Collier left early this morning. I sat next to Buckland at dinner & he was most entertaining. | |
