18 August 1872 — Champfer | |
Sunday. 18th [August 1872]. We went down to drink the waters & afterwards Henry & I walked back to Champfer by the wood & Maria & Rd went to church– I wrote some letters. After dinner I & Henry got an einspänner & went to pay some visits to the De Martinos (who leave tomorrow) & Mme Taliacarne but we did not see her– We then went to church & then came home & wrote. | |
