31 August 1872 — Baveno | |
Saturday. 31st [August 1872]. They were all tired & lazy this morning & the weather was gloomy. I tried another sketch with rain effects– After lunch we went off to the Isola Madre & went over the Palace & gardens– The weather became fine. We dined at 6 & sat in garden in eveng. | |
