24 November 1872 — Madrid | |
Sunday. 24th [November 1872]. I did not go to church & got up only for luncheon– Henry took Mr Wylde for a walk. I did not go out. The Hayters, Ruiz Gomez, Messrs Ff, Sey & Hag: & Esquivel dined & the Hunts came in afterwards & sang. News of railway bridge near Linares being destroyed by the republicans. | |
