24 December 1872 — Madrid | |
Tuesday. 24th [December 1872]. I had a headache & got up very late. I did not go out & wrote for Henry. It was a pouring dull foggy day– We went in the evening to the Bouillés being their “at home” day. Being the night of the “noche buena” there were very few people there & we did not stay long. | |
