6 February 1873 — Madrid | |
Thursday. 6th [February 1873]. Grau came to say my copy of Titian’s Fecundidad is finished so went to see it after lunch. It was very cold & a few flakes of snow fell. We went to Jesusa’s to see cabinets for Ld Granville. I went to Mme Dragonetti but did not find her in—so we came home. Mme Riaño came to see us with her father. In the evening we went to the Sickles ball. A good many people but I sat all the time with Mme Bauer & we were attended by Fiol the New Govr of Madrid. | |
