15 February 1873 — Madrid | |
Saturday. 15th [February 1873]. Had busy morning & a deal of copying for Henry. After lunch we went out driving & shopping at the Buen Retiro & took a walk. The snow still lying about in patches but it is not in the sun. Mme Riaño came to see us with her father & also came Mme Bauer. Later she sent us word that she wanted us to go to the Opera with them so we went to hear Lucretia Borgia again. | |
