18 February 1873 — Madrid | |
Tuesday. 18th February [1873]. Did a lot more copying for Henry & not being very bright did not go out all day. I had a visit from Mme Bedmar & later from Lindstrand who stayed an immense time & we were interrupted by Mme Figueras & her daughter they were very bitter abt the King & would not even allow that he had written his last message “notra capaz” &c then came the Coliberts who are on their way back to Granada & later Brehm who sat some time chatting till just dinner time– | |
