4 March 1873 — Madrid | |
Tuesday. 4th [March 1873]. I had a great hunt for a missing guide book of Henry’s & then set to work to copy till lunch time & afterwards painted till 3½ when Mme Ettling fetched me & we went to the Retiro & took a walk. Henry rode. It is quite warm & spring like today & the winter seems to be going. Henry went to Bouillés & I went early to bed. | |
