11 April 1873 — Madrid | |
Friday. 11th [April 1873]. Good Friday. I went out walking with Henry & we walked to the Canitz & found them in & invited them to walk with us & while they got ready we went & paid the Mendes Leals a visit & then we walked with the Canitz as far as the Prado & then home. Mr Napier dined at home & we were obliged to stay in—no carriages being yet allowed. | |
