12 April 1873 — Madrid | |
Saturday. 12th [April 1873]. I had a headache & did not get up till abt 2 & then laid on the sofa in my own room but I got better by dinner time & was able to dinner. Mr Hunt dined with as well as Mr Napier. After 10 this morning the carriages began to go abt as usual. | |
