27 May 1873 — Madrid | |
Tuesday. 27th [May 1873]. I worked hard at the tapestry mending with Miss Bentley. We went out driving at 6– Dined at 7½ & went to the concert at the conservatorio to hear the pupils sing—a child of 5 years old played the piano & a boy of 6 the violin– There was also 2 movements of the septuor in wh Monasterio played—after it we went to Bouillé’s where were very few people. | |
