6 June 1873 — Madrid | |
Friday. 6th [June 1873]. I copied for Henry. At 4 had a visit from Ettling & later from Mr Whyte. At 6 we took a ride & on the way home we met Napier and told him to come home & dine with us. In the evening we had the usual whist & some music—the Aylton girls sang—the Koudriaffskys came too– | |
