Saturday. 7th [June 1873]. I worked hard translating for Henry all the morning & help Miss Bentley to make her print gown. Henry went to the Cortès & came home at 5 saying the Federal republic had been proclaimed but there had been very little excitement– I had a lesson of Esquivel. | |
