11 July 1873 — London | |
Friday. 11th [July 1873]. Henry & I went down to Blackheath to go see Grannie. Edgar & Anne were at home. We lunched there & came back to town by 5 o’clock. I dined with Arthur & Adeline to meet Connie & Charlie, Blanche & Maria & Rd who came very late to dinner. We were all very uproarious. Henry dined with . We afterwards went home early as Mamma had a drum– She had the Hungarian band. It was not a very large party. | |
