Saturday. 12th July [1873]. I went off to breakfast with the Burrs & afterwards Mrs B took me in the carriage, we did a little shopping & then she left me at Mrs Rates & went on to the Eaton & Harrow match. I went home to lunch after sitting some time with Alice. At 5 Henry took me down by train to Roehampton to stay with Maria & Rd. | |
