25 July 1873 — London | |
Friday. 25th [July 1873]. The Hutchins lunched at L. Hse & also Monty. I went out with Henry directly after lunch to try & see the Cowleys & Odo Russells but did not find them so returned & took a drive with the M. leaving cards & we called on Dow Lady Townshend & had tea with them. We & Blanche dined with Lady Somers & met the Enfields, Harry Bourke, Henry Somersets &c. Lord Somers was away at Hamburg. Blanche left early as she went with Monty to Marlboro House Ball. | |
