29 July 1873 — Canford Manor, nr. Wimborne, Dorset | |
Tuesday. 29th [July 1873]. Sat in the hall working & chaffing Kembles– I had a headache so I had to go & lie down & give up luncheon– At 3 we all went to Parkston where we had a picnic tea. I went with Cornelia in her pony carriage. We made a fire on the sand hills & had a very pleasant meal. We got home just in time for dinner. | |
