2 August 1873 — Canford Manor, nr. Wimborne, Dorset | |
Saturday. 2nd [August 1873]. We had a whole morning consulting with Pegrasse abt the carvings in the entrance hall– We left with Maria & Rd by the 1.30 train. At Brockenhurst we met the Elchos; we all went to Freshwater—& got there abt 7. We went up to see Mrs Cameron & Maria said she felt queer & went back to the hotel. After dinner Henry & I sat out in the garden. | |
