3 August 1873 — Freshwater | |
Sunday. 3rd [August 1873]. Maria rather better but I sat on her bed talking to her most of the morning & then went & sat in the garden with Henry & the Elchos. Later Henry & I walked up the Beacon down where we were joined later by Richard. I lost my horseshoe pearl pin given me by the Tanteiginies for wh I was very sorry. We went to Mrs Cameron’s on our way home but did not find her. She was at the Hotel when we got there & came into our room & sat with us. She sent us her last photos to look over in the evening. | |
