19 August 1873 — Keir | |
Tuesday. 19th [August 1873]. Mrs Norton & her grandson went to Edinboro for the day & the Sheridans left Keir– Lady Anna did not appear in the morning not being well—but she was at luncheon—& afterwards she & Sir Wm drove us to Stirling. It was fine & a lovely drive, we went to the Castle wh is most picturesquely placed on a rock over the town & we walked on the Castle walls where there is a lovely view. Sang in the evening– | |
