7 September 1873 — Eastnor Castle, nr. Ledbury, Herefordshire | |
Sunday. 7th [September 1873]. We went to church in the morning & afterwards had a stroll in the garden. After lunch I went up to “modder” with Ld Somers & then took a turn in the garden with him, Henry & Mr Cheney but it was damp & threatening. Mr & Mrs Pullen & Master & Miss P. dined with the Somers. Lord Somers was very funny abt the Paray le Monial Pilgrims. | |
