10 September 1873 — Eastnor Castle, nr. Ledbury, Herefordshire | |
Wednesday. 10th [September 1873]. Val Prinsep & I set to work in the hall to draw a suit of armour—wh took me all the morning– In the afternoon we all drove along the Ridgeway out of the Park to the British Camp– Everybody excepting Mr Cheney & myself got out & walked—so we left the omnibus for them & drove home– Henry & I retired to our room & Lady Somers came & joined us there. | |
