11 September 1873 — Eastnor Castle, nr. Ledbury, Herefordshire | |
Thursday. 11th [September 1873]. Got up a little earlier to bid adieu to Cheney who went off at 10– I worked at the armour nearly all day long—& did not go out with the rest of the party. Miss Thackeray left for London abt 5 & then Henry & I went out for a little turn in the garden with Lady Somers. Mr & Mrs & Miss Pullen dined. Harry Bourke took me into dinner & was very amusing– Singing in the evening. | |
