Friday. 3rd [October 1873]. Got up in hopes the Lively would come & we should start at once—but no ship came. Visit from Grahams– Took a little carriage & drove over to Biarritz where we met the Marquis de Sofraza & also Haggart. I read out loud in the eveng to Henry some of Trollopes Australia & New Zealand. | |
