8 November 1873 — Madrid
Saturday. 8th [November 1873]. I completed the mending of that bit of tapestry– Inzenga came to give me a lesson—the Coliberts called; are starting for England. Henry & I went to the Museum in the afternoon to see what Grau was doing but did not find him there. We then took a turn in the Retiro & I left Henry in the Plaza Sta Domingo & went to see Mme Bauer, found her just going out so I did not stay long. Alfred Weil is not so well again & was in bed. The Derings, Mr Hunt, Inzenga & Mirecki came in the evening & we had a practise of trios for Monday.
