19 February 1874 — Madrid | |
Thursday. 19th [February 1874]. Painted & lesson of Esquivel. I did not go out as it was very windy. At 4½ Missie came & we played games & had tea. The Messenger started for London. Mme Vernouillet called. We had our usual music in the evening which was very enjoyable & they all played well but not many people came. | |
