1 April 1874 — En route to Cordova | |
Wednesday. 1st April [1874]. Waking abt 6 I at once got the kettle, made myself a good cup of tea & went to sleep again for some time. I breakfasted from the lunch basket but Henry went to the table d’hôte at Mengibar. We got to Cordova abt 3. I laid down & rested for some time & had some tea & we dined at the 6 o’clock table d’hôte with Messrs Rutledge & Camil & I went to bed early. | |
