15 April 1874 — Gibraltar | |
Wednesday. 15th [April 1874]. Finished copying music & wrote letters & talked to Mrs de Winton. Copied a letter for Henry. We drove out in the afternoon with Mrs de W. to the lines & walked a little way to the village of genoese fishermen– Back to tea. Mrs Macrae called. I sketched a little. We had nobody to dinner & retired to bed very early. | |
