21 April 1874 — Madrid | |
Tuesday. 21st April [1874]. Showed Nety all my fans & we played duetts on the piano & harmonium & with talking the time passed till lunch. At ½ past 3 we went out driving & met Henry in the Fuente & Nety got out & walked with him while I went off to see the Dss de la Torre. Emilia, Nicholas & O’Conner dined with us & afterwards Emilia & Henry took Nety to the Opera where there was the last funcion of the season a kind of concert & Tamberlick sang. I went to bed early. | |
