Monday. 4th [May 1874]. Painted in the morning. Mr Graham & his son & daughter came to lunch with us. Mrs Whyte & Alice called, Clarita also came to see me. We went & took a walk in the Retiro & a turn up the Fuente– A good many people came in the evening amongst whom was Ruiz Gomez who tells us that Serrano is expected back from the North next Wednesday. | |
