7 May 1874 — Madrid | |
Thursday. 7th [May 1874]. It was very cold & I had a cold in my head & so lighted fires again wh were very comfortable– I painted nearly all day & had lesson of Esq. At 5 Henry & I went out driving & took a walk in the Retiro—coming out we met Serrano going to walk. | |
