Tuesday. 26th [May 1874]. Copied letters for Henry & painted a little. Major Hall came to call but at the same time as Esquivel came to give his lesson– At 5 we went out for a ride to the Fuente Castellana but came home a little early. Before going Clarita came to see me & sat with me while I dressed. Played backgammon in the evening. | |
