13 November 1874 — Madrid | |
Friday. 13th [November 1874]. The Ayltons came & worked. I worked all day. M. Aylton called in the afternoon. I had a fright abt the cat Pepito. He was very odd & I was afraid he was going mad. So sent for vet: who said the cat was only ill & ordered Jarabe de rhubarbe. Riaños, Hunts, Mirecki & Chaudordy dined we had a little music in the evening & sang trios &c. | |
