28 January 1875 — Madrid | |
Thursday. 28th [January 1875]. I painted all the morng. I began to draw the study of the head I am going to make. I went out driving at 3 & walked with Henry in the Retiro & coming home went to Mme Greindls but she was out. Chaudordy, Beck, Mirecki, Mr Hunt & Gosling dined with us & we had a musical party in the evening. Mirecki played & brought a new violin to play who was pretty good. | |
