18 February 1875 — Madrid | |
Thursday. 18th [February 1875]. Snow on the ground in the morning but it did not last long but it was a wet day & snowed off & on. Mrs Hunt & Mirecki dined with us & in the eveng we had our music. I had practised in the afternoon with Mirecki when they came to rehearse & we played a quartett the Ava Maria of Schubert & had also to play Sidorovitch trio. Clarita came in the eveng but did not sing. | |
