2 March 1875 — Madrid | |
Tuesday. 2nd March [1875]. Worked at frame. Lindstrand & Koudriaffsky came to see Henry in the morning. Esquivel came for usual lesson. Clarita came just as I was going out so I took her with me & we did some commissions & the she left me & I went to meet Henry in the Recolletos & brought him home. Went to see Mme Greindl who returned from Santander on Saty leaving her husband to go on home to his father’s funeral. Maffei called on Henry. The Riaños dined with us. At 10 we went to fetch the Ayltons & went to the Koudriaffskys. We played vingt-et-un & I lost. | |
