19 April 1875 — Madrid | |
Monday. 19th [April 1875]. Henry’s cold was so bad he could not go out. The messenger started. Emilia & Mr Gayangos came to see us at 5 & after tea I went for a walk with them, we went down the San Geronimo & to the Prado to their house where the carriage met me & brought me home. In the eveng a few people came. | |
