4 May 1875 — Madrid | |
Tuesday. 4th [May 1875]. Went out before breakfast fetched Emilia & went to see Mariquilla & had a chat with her. Came home at 12½ to breakfast. Painted & had a lesson of Esquivel. Miss Bentley came. Ludolf came to present Ct Salm. At 5 had tea & then went out riding. Went to Retiro. It was very sultry. Saw King & Infanta driving. In the eveng we went to Koudriaffskys. Met there Cr Salm. | |
