Friday. 9th [July 1875]. We went to bathe at Favorita. At breakfast Morelli told us he had been to see Sir James & found he had a sudden attack of gout & was going off today to Verona– Henry went to see him. It was a dull afternoon– I stayed at home & wrote & copied music. Just before dinner Mme Marcello called. Piazza– | |
