Wednesday. 28th July [1875]. We breakfasted a little earlier & I went out afterwards to Guggenheims to paint with Cortelazzo & came back abt 1. A man from Salviati came to make a sketch of me for the mosaic portrait. Brown called– At 2.30 went to paint at Cr for last time with R. Madrazo. In eveng to Piazza & at 10.30 to Pss Clary’s who receives on Wednesday’s. A good many people there. Came away abt 12. | |
