4 August 1875 — London | |
Wednesday. 4th [August 1875]. Stayed in bed till luncheon. Mr C Hambro, Connie & her child Evely, & Adeline lunched here—stayed with C & A played piano &c. At 5 A. & I set out to shop in her brougham. Connie having been fetched by Charlie– We met Con & Ch: in the M’s carriage so I left Adeline & went with Con: shopped & went to see Con: new house & then fetched the M. at the school of art needlework. Went in & saw it & came home to dinner. Arthur dined here. | |
