Thursday. 5th [August 1875]. Went down to Blackheath. Found Grannie in bed– Mrs Fred was also paying her a visit. Grannie got up in her chair in the afternoon. At 5 we left her & returned to London. Went with M & S to dine with Connie. Met Hy, Eliot, Mr Burton, Arthur & Adeline, Rd Du Cane, & Esmae Gordon. Sang spanish songs home after 12. | |
