19 August 1875 — Aldermaston Court, Aldermaston, Berkshire | |
Thursday. 19th [August 1875]. Mr Fergy left. I set to work to finish a sketch of the staircase. In the afternoon we went & fished in the pond with the Squire & Buckland but no great sport. We had great fun at dinner as Buckland was inimitable but I had a headache & had to go to bed early. | |
