10 December 1875 — Madrid | |
Friday. 10th December [1875]. Henry is better & up as usual. At ¼ to 3 Mrs Phipps called but I had to send her off to go the dentist. I went 1st to fetch Emilia & from Gardeners sent the carriage back to Henry & Emilia & I walked. Went to the Calle de Portas for ribbons then to Claritas. The child’s leg was not set & he was screaming all the time. Clarita better. Hatzfeldt called at 5 & sat talking some time. Messenger left for England. Walsham servant all right. | |
