11 December 1875 — Madrid | |
Saturday. 11th [December 1875]. I went out at 3 & called on Mme Koudriaffsky & found her in & met there old Aylton– I went on to see the Riaños & found Mr R rather better– Went to the Walshams who were out. Went to Bauers & saw Ida. Gustave is better– Went to Clarita & found her better & the boy whose leg was set under chloroform without pain. Came home & found Sir J. Walsham here calling. | |
